26 Heat

The bedroom door shut with a slam, as Anna and Jason went toppling towards the bed.  “Don’t you think,” Anna said, trying to speak between urgent kisses, “that it’s a little too hot for this?”

Lips working their way down her throat, Jason breathed, “Is it ever?” against her skin.

She laughed, working his t-shirt over his head.  “It’s ninety degrees.  And the air conditioner isn’t working.”

“So what?”  His hands fumbled with her bra, having already relegated the shirt to the floor.

“We’re going to burn up,” she pointed out, her voice dropping.

His eyes smoldered.  “Yes, we are.”

Anna Foster and Jason Vilnas.  Original characters.
